Welcome to Frensham Pond Sailability
Sailing for people with disabilities
Welcome to Frensham Pond Sailability - a partnership between Frensham Pond Sailing Club (FPSC) and Farnham & District Sports Association for the Disabled (FDSAD).
Sailability provides a very wide range of dinghy and mini-keelboat sailing, from therapeutic cruising to fully competitive racing. We welcome people of all ages who, because of illness or disability, require support to sail. Organised sailing takes place on Thursday and Saturday mornings during the April - October period.
We have a range of boat types that can cater for individual capabilites, experience and ambition. For the beginner, we would emphasise that no prior sailing experience is required. For those who have sailed before or are looking for a more serious sporting challenge, we can offer highly competitive sailing in Paralympic class mini-keelboats.
For additional information now, please look at the other Sailability pages ('More about Sailability', 'Boats' and 'Newsletter'). For further information, please contact either of the two names below. We would be delighted to hear from you.
Over 75% of our operating costs and 100% of our capital costs are met from donations and on-going fund-raising events. If you would like to help by making a small donation to Frensham Pond Sailability, please click on www.justgiving.com/fps/supportus
