General Information
The kitchen will be open at appropriate times throughout the day for the purchase of tea, coffee, soup, soft drinks and confectionery but hot food will not normally be available.
It is a house rule that we have a female present at all times during Young Sailors Scheme courses and we normally achieve this by a rote of "mums". If you are able to help support this please let us know.
You will be issued with a personal copy of the appropriate RYA Logbook on the morning of the first day, if you already have one please bring it with you.
You should have available warm, comfortable clothing (several thin layers is better than one thick one). Bring too much rather than too little.
Soft-soled footwear should be warn at all time. Plimsolls or old sports trainers would be suitable. However, due to the lack of space in the boats fashionable trainers are not desirable and it should be remembered that they will get wet.
You are strongly advised not to leave valuables in the changing rooms. They should be locked in the boot of a locked car, carried on the person or left in the kitchen in a marked container.
