GP14 / Enterprise / Lark Open Meeting

GP14 / Enterprise / Lark Open Meeting

Sunday 11th October 2020

Official Event Noticeboard

Welcome to the 2020 Frensham Pond Sailing Club GP14 / Enterprise / Lark Open Meeting.

On this page you will find all of the information and documents that you need for entering and competing at this year's Open. Keep checking back to this page as it will be updated as more information becomes available in the run up to the event.

Entry for the event will be £15 and we have a maximum number of entries of 35 boats for all three fleets.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions it is important that a minimum number of people attend the event. Parents of under 18s must remain on site for the duration of the event. Attendees will be assigned a specific area of the grounds for car parking, rigging and launching. Except when engaged in activities connected with participating in or running the event (such as parking, rigging, changing, launching, preparing patrol boats etc) anyone on site must be in a group of six or less in their assigned area. Groups must be spaced at least 2m apart from one another and there must be no mixing between groups.

There is limited seating and shelter available, so you might like to bring an umbrella and something to sit on, although there will be easy access to your vehicles.

No one may attend this event if they or anyone in their household have had any of the symptoms of COVID-19 or a positive test in the previous 14 days or if they have been advised to self-isolate or are in quarantine.

Please note that there will be no food available so please bring your own food and drink for the day.

The changing rooms and showers will be open for a very limited number of people at a time. Please consider either arriving in sailing kit or getting changed discretely in the car park. If you do use the changing rooms then please read the guidance (document below and posted at the entrance to the changing rooms) and respect our restrictions.
