Solo

About

The National Solo is one of the most popular single handed racing dinghies in the UK.

The design is extremely comfortable with inward sloping decks for comfortable sitting out. The Solo has a deep, traditional hull-form, a permanently stayed mast and a powerful, fully battened mainsail.

Originally designed in wood, competitive boats are now widely available in Foam Reinforced Plastic (FRP) or composite construction (FRP hull and wood deck) as well as wood.

Different mast and sail cuts are available to suit helm weight.
