Public Transport to the Pond

FPSC welcomes new members whether they are new to sailing or 'going for gold' at the Olympics. It offers different categories of membership including single helm, single crew, familiy, student, radio sailing, retired, mid-week, and community group for schools, scouts and guides. The Club also has a large and active Sailability group for those who, because of illness or disability, need support to sail. FPSC is a RYA registered Training Centre with courses throught the year teaching people to sail, drive powerboats, or become Instructors. Courses aavailable for beginners, developers, seamanship, start racing, single-handed, doube-handed and First Aid. Junior and Youth training and coaching is central to the Club’s ethos, with fleets of Cadets, RS Teras, RS Fevas and ILCAs training every Saturday throughout the year. Dinghy rcaing is at the heart of FPSC with one-design, sinlge class racing as well as boasting strong handicap fleets racing Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesday evenings.
